The couple wanted to tell their family and close friends first, but good news travels fast. With their hectic travel schedules, Andy and Brooklyn plan to enjoy their engagement and will wait to set a wedding date.

Andy Roddick used to date Mandy Moore.They met last year when Andy Roddick asked his agent to track down a number for Decker. The 27 years old Roddick, currently ranked sixth in the ATP rankings, owns one Grand Slam singles title the 2003 U.S. Open and has reached three other Grand Slam finals (Wimbledon twice and the U.S. Open).

During the 2007 Davis Cup final between the USA and Russia, Decker was seen in the crowd supporting American tennis star Andy Roddick. On March 31, 2008, Roddick announced on his website that he and Decker are engaged.
